Chillicothe Animal Hospital, Inc. was founded by the late Layton Jackson, DVM in the 1960s. Back then, it was better known as Chillicothe Veterinary Clinic. In 1976, Clark Gwin, DVM purchased the practice and became the solo veterinarian until Daniel Ross, DVM joined in 1988. The clinic was incorporated in 1990, becoming what it is today, Chillicothe Animal Hospital, Inc. Dr. Gwin retired in 2013 after serving Chillicothe faithfully for decades. In the fall of 2018, Drs. Samantha and Aaron Maberry took ownership of Chillicothe Animal Hospital, Inc allowing Dr. Ross to fully retire in 2024.
